Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio is striving to help provide safe and reliable heating and cooling options to residents in our service area. This program helps homeowners in our communities to replace HVAC units in their homes at no cost to them, if they qualify. This is a grant opportunity that will be disbursed on a first come-first serve basis.
Note: Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio reserves the right to refuse to work on any project we feel does not fall within our scope of work.
The HVAC grant program serves homeowners throughout Southeast Ohio who:
- Live on our service area this includes counties of: Athens, Fairfield, Hocking, Meigs, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, and Perry
- Live in and own their own homes (no land contracts)
- Have a need for a new heating and cooling system
- Must be at or below 80% AMI (can check HUD website provided below)
- HUD Income Limits
- Household containing one person with a disability or that is 65 years or older
