The Home Repair & Care Training Center is committed to empowering our community and helping people gain the knowledge and confidence to maintain their homes independently. Our hands-on, interactive Training Center allows you to experience elements of a home and practice working with various tools. You'll learn about the systems of your home, gain the knowledge to make small repairs, and you will walk away with a new appreciation of homeownership!

Classes at our main campus in Millfield will be held on Tuesdays, will be approximately 90 minutes long, and will be FREE for the 2026 calendar year. *Some workshops will have a cost to participate, ranging from $20 - $100 to cover the cost of materials.

Chillicothe classes are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Chillicothe & Ross County Library Annex Room B1
Build a Basic Workbench
*This is a two-day workshop - 6pm-8pm; February 17&19
Our much-loved workshop is happening again!! This is a 2-part workshop - Tuesday, February 17 & Thursday, February 19. Both nights from 6pm-8pm.
We will teach you how to use a circular saw, a miter saw, a table saw, and a cordless drill. You will make the cuts, then you will assemble your very own workbench!
Make sure you have a way to transport the workbench home on Thursday!!
