The Home Repair & Care Training Center is committed to empowering our community and helping people gain the knowledge and confidence to maintain their homes independently. Our hands-on, interactive Training Center allows you to experience elements of a home and practice working with various tools. You'll learn about the systems of your home, gain the knowledge to make small repairs, and you will walk away with a new appreciation of homeownership!

Classes at our main campus in Millfield will be held on Tuesdays, will be approximately 90 minutes long, and will be FREE for the 2026 calendar year. *Some workshops will have a cost to participate, ranging from $20 - $100 to cover the cost of materials.

Chillicothe classes are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Chillicothe & Ross County Library Annex Room B1
Toilet & Bath Repair
Our toilets are one of those things we all wish we understood better! This class will set you on a path of repair self-reliance in the bathroom! Once you know how to troubleshoot issues with the toilet, repairs are easy! If nothing else, talking to your plumber will be a snap!
