The Home Repair & Care Training Center is committed to empowering our community and helping people gain the knowledge and confidence to maintain their homes independently. Our hands-on, interactive Training Center allows you to experience elements of a home and practice working with various tools. You'll learn about the systems of your home, gain the knowledge to make small repairs, and you will walk away with a new appreciation of homeownership!

Push Lawn Mower Repair
Lawn mowers can be frustrating when we need them and they won't start - especially when we have limited time to get the job done!
Bring your lawnmower and replacement parts and work alongside the instructor!
You will mirror the instructor as he explains a mower and shows you how to change a spark plug and an air filter. This is an upgrade of the workshop we held last year, which was a huge success! Get your tickets before they sell out!
Please bring the replacement SPARKPLUG, AIR FILTER & BLADE made for your mower. If you have difficulty finding your parts, please reach out, and we can help you source them. If you do not get them or feel you don't need them (ie. blade), don't worry. You will still have the opportunity to do the tasks.
