The Home Repair & Care Training Center is committed to empowering our community and helping people gain the knowledge and confidence to maintain their homes independently. Our hands-on, interactive Training Center allows you to experience elements of a home and practice working with various tools. You'll learn about the systems of your home, gain the knowledge to make small repairs, and you will walk away with a new appreciation of homeownership!

Classes at our main campus in Millfield will be held on Tuesdays, will be approximately 90 minutes long, and will be FREE for the 2026 calendar year. *Some workshops will have a cost to participate, ranging from $20 - $100 to cover the cost of materials.

Intro to Power Tools
Power tools can be intimidating to use, especially without proper training. In this workshop, you will learn many of the most common types of power tools, when to use them, their limitations, and, most importantly, how to use them safely. Build your confidence and your toolbox for your next home project!
