The Home Repair & Care Training Center is committed to empowering our community and helping people gain the knowledge and confidence to maintain their homes independently. Our hands-on, interactive Training Center allows you to experience elements of a home and practice working with various tools. You'll learn about the systems of your home, gain the knowledge to make small repairs, and you will walk away with a new appreciation of homeownership!

Classes will be held on Tuesdays at 6pm, will be approximately 90 minutes long, and FREE for the first half of 2026!

Hands-on workshops will meet on Tuesdays (and some Thursdays). Workshops will have a cost to participate, ranging from $20-$100 to cover the cost of materials.
If you are registering a minor under 18 years old, you must call the Training Center to inquire about the workshop. Woodshop workshops are only open to those 18 years or older. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and both must register for the workshop.
Siding, Roofing, & Gutters - Chillicothe
Your roof and gutters are paramount to the health of your house. Knowing how the components of a roof are assembled and how it and your gutter system keep your house dry will help you identify any problems that might lead to major consequences. We will cover all this and how to maintain your siding in this “all things waterproofing”
