Improving the quality of life in Southeast Ohio by providing home repair and care training opportunities for residents in our community.
Our hands-on workshops cover essential elements of a home and educate participants on the language of each system, how it works and what typically goes wrong. Our aim is to aid homeowners in overall knowledge of how these systems should function, confidence in relating issues to a contractor and/or performing basic repairs.
Each workshop will be held on Tuesdays at 6pm. They will be 90 minutes long and cost $30. To see the workshop descriptions and to register see the calendar below.
If you are registering a minor under 18 years old, you must call the Training Center to inquire about the workshop. Certain workshops have too many restrictions to allow minors. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and both must register for the workshop.

Insulate Your Home
In the extreme months of winter or summer, are you losing your electrical bill to the elements? In this workshop, you will learn how your house maintains temperatures, how it can fail and what you can do to fix it. Demonstration of a thermal camera in your home is available for an additional charge. You must attend the workshop to receive this service. Please consider an additional donation if you live more than 20 miles from the Training Center.
